Marisa Hetzler

Marisa (pronouns she/her) is a graphic designer based in New York City. She is passionate about the intersection of design and social justice, and feels nourished while working on community engaged projects. In her artistic practice, Marisa strives to make design accessible, inclusive, and beautiful.

She has an educational background Graphic Design, Art History and Psychology. Some of her favorite projects she’s worked on include a visual essay about her parent’s interracial wedding, and a brand identity for the student advocacy group “Collegiate Association for Artists of Color”. Marisa joined the CUP team in 2021 as a Fellow for Change In Design.

When she’s not working, she’s catching up on her favorite reality TV shows, curating playlists, and saving memes to her camera roll.
