Prior to working at NYC Opportunity, Yael worked as an program evaluator at a CBO, adjunct professor teaching social policy and human rights, and worked as a counselor in foster care and preventive services. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two cats Quint and Brody.<br /></p>
