Rosa Ng

Rosa Ng (she/her) is a Chinese American textile artist and designer based in New York. She is also an educator and works at the intersection of design research, creative strategy, and business development. Rosa's artistic practice is process-oriented and focuses on using art as a way to challenge dominant societal narratives and create space for alternative stories to emerge. She is particularly interested in exploring how we can be better stewards of nature, ourselves, and our communities. In her recent research projects, Rosa has utilized techniques such as soil work and weaving to examine storied histories. In 2021, she earned her MFA in Design & Technology, with a focus on Civic Service Design. In her free time, Rosa can often be found gardening or volunteering with organizations that promote food justice.
