Rebecca Tryon

Rebecca Tryon, HHSA Program, oversees Healthy Communities Initiative work, including health equity training and capacity building, the oral health and SNAP-Ed programs, and completion of the Community Health Assessment/Community Health Improvement Plan process. Rebecca is passionate about healthy eating, active living initiatives, chronic disease prevention for underserved communities and integrating mindful practices into professional work. She has a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology & Behavior and a M.S. in Nutritional Biology. She’s also a yoga instructor and single mom to a vivacious 8-yr old boy.
