<p>Maria Arenas grew up in the Philippines and Thailand and now resides in Brooklyn after graduating from Pratt Institute in 2016. As a foreigner, working in the political and social movement space is her way to be civically engaged and get her voice heard. As Tandem’s senior designer, Maria has worked with groups like Sunrise Movement and Planned Parenthood and led projects for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Maria’s work on the AOC campaign has won her a number of accolades including acquisitions at The Poster House, a profile in AdWeek, and more.</p>
