Legal Momentum is a national nonprofit organization that employs the power of the law to address persistent gender inequality. Our targeted litigation, legislative advocacy, and educational initiatives continue to advance gender equality at home, at work, in schools, and in the courts. Harnessing Legal Momentum’s long history and experience working on gender discrimination in the workplace, our Women Valued Initiative takes a uniquely intersectional approach to economic empowerment and workplace equality that prioritizes the unmet needs of the most underserved women. By implementing a two-part strategy of holistic empowerment and policy advocacy, focused on industries in which women are subject to high levels of exploitation, Legal Momentum is leading the way to establish a workplace culture of equal opportunity and system-wide accountability for all women, providing comprehensive guidance on 13 core issues that impact women’s economic security.
