<p dir="ltr">K.C. Alvey has worked with NYC Parks GreenThumb's Community Engagement team since 2017 and supports about 50 volunteer-run groups to steward community gardens in Brooklyn in her role as a Senior Outreach Coordinator. K.C. has completed both the Master Gardener and Advanced Master Gardener certificate programs at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in partnership with NYC Parks. In addition, K.C. will complete the Master of Urban Planning with a concentration on climate resiliency and environmental justice at Hunter College in summer 2022.<br /></p>
